I was lucky enough to be able to attend the ABC Expo in Las Vegas last month where I learned about so many new and exciting products for baby. One of the new products that really stood out to me was the Baby Hip Hugger by Baby Nari. The Baby Hip Hugger is a little seat that you wear around your waist that helps relieve the pressure on your back and arms when you hold your little one. With Baybah not getting any lighter, I was anxious to give this product a try.

The Baby Hip Hugger is sold in 2 sizes. The infant style for babies that sit on their own up to 22 lbs, and the toddler style for babies 22 to 40 lbs. With 7 colors to choose from in the toddler style, there is a color for everyone. The Baby Hip Hugger is also a one size fits all (up to a 40 in. waist), so it can easily be used by everyone in your family. You do not have to worry about adjusting straps, etc. like you do with a baby carrier.
Once I got my black Baby Hip Hugger in the mail, I could not wait to put it to the test. There are times that Baybah does not want to be in his stroller when we are out and about, but with a growing toddler, it is getting harder and harder for me to carry him. I quickly get pain in my back and arms.

The Baby Hip Hugger is so easy to put on. You wear it like you would a fanny pack. You just put it around your waist, attach the velcro and buckle, and then you are ready to go. There are no straps that you have to worry about, or holes for you to put your babies legs in, so once you have it attached around your waist, you are ready to hold your little one. You hold them just like you would when they are in your arms, except they sit on the Baby Hip Hugger that is around your waist for extra support. The first time I used the Baby Hip Hugger, I could not believe how much lighter Baybah felt. It really did help relieve the pressure on my back and arms, and made it so much easier for me to carry him. Baybah was also very comfortable on the seat as well which made it even easier for me to hold him.

There are a number of different seating positions for your little one like facing in or out, or side and front. For me, it is most comfortable to carry Baybah on the side of my hip facing in.

The Baby Hip Hugger has a heart shaped material on the seat and raised back that helps you child stay in place while you hold onto them.

It also has a zippered pouch that can hold a diaper change and wipes, a small mesh pouch for a toy or snacks, and on the inside, a couple of pockets to hold your phone, keys, and money. This makes it very convenient for your quick trips out so that you do not even have to worry about a diaper bag.
If you are a mom like me that is looking for an easier, more comfortable way to carry your child, the Baby Hip Hugger is for you. Your little one is still held close to you in your arms, but you no longer have to sacrifice your comfort, making it great for you, your arms, your back, and your baby!
