If you carry your kids on your hip a lot like I do, you are probably feeling a little crooked. Now there’s something that offers some support -The Baby Hip Hugger.

When I first saw it I thought what a great invention, but I wasn’t sure how it would really work.  It looks like a giant fanny pack that velcros around the waist and then clips together.  It offers support by evenly distributing the weight of the baby to relieve pressure on the back and helps maintain better posture.  It also gives your arms a break too so you can carry your little one longer.  It felt a little awkward at first, but I now I use it all the time.

I like to use it for quick trips when I can’t or don’t feel like getting the stroller out.  It’s perfect when I have both my kids and have to drop my 3 year old at preschool fast. With the Baby Hip Hugger I can carry my 20 month old daughter with just one hand and hold my son’s hand at the same time.  Since she’s not strapped in, I can pick her up and put her down anytime. My daughter always wants to walk on her own, but then 2 minutes later she wants to be picked up again, then put down, then picked up.  Not great for my back or my arms.  Now at least I have a little more support so I won’t walk around crooked anymore.

It’s different than my Baby Bjorn, which I used when my kids were really young, because it’s not hands free, but it’s perfect for when they start walking and still want to be held.  You have to make sure to wear it tight around your waist so it doesn’t dig into your hip.
You can wear it different sitting options, like facing in or out and to the side.   The Baby Hip Hugger comes in 2 sizes.  I have the toddler version.   As you can see from the photo I’m a lefty when it comes to carrying my baby.   I try to change it up, but the other side feels weird.  How about you?

I would love to use one of these on our trip to Southern Cali for theme parks! I would also like to use it when my husband returns from his Iraq tour when we hopefully get to vacation together again.  My son is 2 1/2 & in the 98th % for height and weight.  I am also only 5 ft, so shifting his weight would help support. This product sounds amazing and would pass it along to my friends with infants!

Well besides the normal every day use, since my 9 month old daughter has to go everywhere with me, I have been looking for something for our halloween costume. I thought I could be a web and my daughter the spider and a baby hip hugger would for sure come in handy during trick or treating!!!!!

If I won this, it would help me in toting around with my grandson at the races (instead of having him in a stroller). Being that he’s almost 3, he’s starting to get a little heavy (he’s big for his age) for grandma to carry around all the time. And he loves to cuddy, so he wants to be carried when  he can. :-)

My 25lb toddler gets tired on long walks or trips to the zoo.  She refuses a strollers and wants “mama” to carry her.  I have a weak back from a car accident 3 years ago. This would be amazing and such a relief on my back as I carry her.  We’d definitely go on longer walks and visit the zoo more often!

My Husband is in the Navy and is gone most of the time so I have the kids to myself 24/7! I have a 23 month old daughter and a 5 month old son and this would come in soooo handy when going places with both of them! A double Stroller is so big and something like this would make so much easier for us to get around! We would take it everywhere! especially to the park!

I would love to win this for my husband. We had a son in March and he is starting to get really heavy for my husband. Right now he is a stay at home daddy. The reason why I want to get this for my husband is because had three ruptured disks in his back which he had have surgery on. He found out that the disks are getting bad again which is causing him problems holding our son. He may have to get sugery again. I think this would a be a perfect solution to help support his son. Did I mention that my son wants to be held all the time. We love to hold him but at times my husband has to sit down or sit him on the floor because he is getting to be so big. He has told me at the end of the day his arms and his back hurt so bad – he can’t even hold him at the end of the day. It makes me really sad that one day he will not be able to hold him because of his weight so I want him to have as much time to cuddle him now. Your consideration would be so helpful for us as we cannot afford a lot right now which pending surgery over our heads.

My daughter is in the 95+ percentile for weight and length. She is only 6 months old and weighs 23lbs and 3oz. She is learning to crawl, but she insists on being carried while we’re at the store. She doesn’t like to sit in shopping carts or her stroller. She will be tall like her daddy (6′ 6″). I would love to have some support while I’m holding her to spare my arms/back!

My son just turned 3 years old in the month of July.  I took him to the doctors and he weighs 39 pounds which puts him in the 95% for his weight. He still loves to be carried a lot.  I never knew of such a product that ever existed.  I would love to win one of these.  It would help my back out while carrying my son.  Thank you for eventing such a great product.

Today, I went shopping with my lo in his stroller.  Unfortunately, he wanted to be carried the whole time.  I thought my arm was going to fall off carrying my 20+ pound baby with one arm and pushing the stroller with the other.  This carrier would have been perfect!!

I would use the carrier for all my daily errands to stores, meeting friends, and restaurants.

We have a 2 year old and a new one who is 5 days old.  It’s impossible for me to hold both girls at once, and daddy won’t use any carrier that seems too “complicated” – this is just the solution to grocery outings, zoo trips, grocery runs, and walks around the block!  We’d use this everywhere!  And I imagine all the time as our toddler is needing a bit more attention and holding now that little sister is here.

She loves it when I pick her up so she can touch the leaves on the trees and I’m often carrying her on my hip so she can see all the animals, colors and cars I point out. Awesome product, Baby Nari!!

Now that the weather is starting to cool off, but it’s still really warm.. it’s perfect weather to take a stroll on the beach and let her play on the beach! My baby loves to be carried and my husband and I love to hike.  This would be perfect for carrying him while hiking the trails…so easy to switch from Mom to Dad!

I would carry my daughter, Christina, EVERYWHERE!  I am 5’1 and she is 5 months old and 18 lbs. already and will be tall like her Daddy, who is 6′ 4″.  The Baby Hip Hugger would be a huge help for me and I LOVE, LOVE the way it looks to be super sturdy.

Wow…there is no place you couldn’t go with this!!  I tell you this would have been a godsend with my first, especially during those colic weeks where alls we did was hold her and bounce lightly around ;0)
